Supervises daily activities of the blood Bank nursing staff. Prepares and assigns work schedules. Provides orientation and in service training. Evaluates job performance of nursing staff. Prepares annual performance appraisals. Coordinates administrative activities with treating physicians, Blood Bank Director and Blood Bank Supervisor. Coordinates and performs donor pheresis for the collection of platelets, Plasma leukocytes and other blood components. Assess patient condition, organises therapeutic procedures and assigns and supports nursing staff.
