Client hospital in Riyadh is a 900-bed state-of-the-art tertiary care medical center dedicated to delivering health care services of the highest international standard. The facility includes a busy Cardiac Surgery and Liver & Kidney transplant Center, a 21-bed Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Care and Trauma Centers, in addition to advanced Medical, OB/GYN, Pediatric, and Surgery departments performing all major surgeries-including conjoined twin separation (11 conjoined twin separates have been performed successfully to date, which is phenomenal worldwide).

Job Title ORSOS IT Application Coordinator
Responsible to: Director, OR Services

Basic Function:
Extensive interaction/ co-operation & Collaboration with various hospital departments including but not exclusive –Clinical Departments (Surgery, anaesthesia, Ob-gyn, dental, cardiac, liver and other departments), ISD, Nursing Services & Patient Services (including coordinators, inpatient, day care and other departments), Also you will be responsible for implementation of the ORSOS software to various departments at the Hospital in Riyadh and sisters hospitals of within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Principle duties
To assist and facilitate the implementation of ORSOS at the hospital. This require extensive interaction with ORSOS implementation tem from McKesson Company.
To interact with IT department to facilitate the implementation and smooth running of ORSOS software.
To help OR schedulers to change needed to implement and run ORSOS
To interact with clinical departments to build database to every department(Surgery, OB Gyne, Anaesthesia, Dental, Hepatobiliary and other departments).
To develop database for each end user preference card.
To develop database procedure performed utilising ORSOS
To provide statistics about OR and end users performance
To provide Quality programs and implement indicators agreed by various clinical departments.
To liaise with hospital coordinators to establish a proper wait list
To establish IT link between wait list, pre-admission clinic and OR scheduling
To ensure smooth running of ORSOS software and maximize the utilization of the program
To act with IT departments to resolve problems of implementing and running of the software.
To advise OR executive Committee and OR Management Board of the progress in implementing and running of ORSOS
To help other sister Hospitals in Jeddah, Eastern Province and Medina to implement ORSOS properly
To identify, report and manage any shortfall or ORSOS program by contacting the concerned person.

Education
Helps educate Saudi Nationals and others to maintain and develop ORSOS
Assists end users to develop accurate database with ORSOS
Trains nurses/doctors and other hospital staff to maximize ORSOS software.

Education :IT degree (B)
Work Experience :Previous experience of ORSOS software with a min of 4 years (E)
English Language Skills :Level 1 (E)
Extensive Computer Skills :Expert (E)
