The facility includes a busy Cardiac Surgery and Liver & Kidney transplant Center, a 21-bed Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Care and Trauma Centers, in addition to advanced Medical, OB/GYN, Pediatric, and Surgery departments performing all major surgeries-including conjoined twin separation (over 20 conjoined twin separates have been performed successfully to date, which is phenomenal worldwide). Principle Duties - Ensures patient care activities are within established hospital, divisional and unit specific guidelines, policies and procedures, standards and protocols, etc. - Facilitates care provided and assesses staff by maintaining high visibility (80% clinical presence) to patients/ families and staff on area(s) Administration Staff Management to include: recruitment, education, training, evaluation and development as well as preparation and delegation of weekly schedules and workflow. Reviews, plans, manages and monitors the unit budget. Educations and Research Quality ESSENTIAL/ PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS (P- preferred, E- Essential, B- Beneficial) Registered nurse with a current nursing license- E Bachelor Degree in Nursing (Western standard)- E Specific Certification as required in area of assignment- E Three (3) years current clinical experience in specific area plus two (2) years in comparable management position- E English language skills: Level I- E Computer Skills: Proficient- E Arabic Language Skills: B |
