The Hospital in Al Hasa is a 300-bed capacity and provides primary and secondary patient care. Including: Outpatient Clinics, Pharmacy, four Operating Rooms and Day Surgery Operation Room. It also includes eight beds for Haemodialysis, Physical Therapy Department, Radiology Department, Endoscopy, ER, ICU, Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department with two rooms for caesareans and six L & D rooms. Wards include: Male and Female patient wards, Gynaecology, Obstetrics and female surgery. male surgical ophthalmology, ENT and a VIP ward. Principle Duties: Clinical Practice: Provides evidence -based adult Nursing education for nursing services staff, nursing students, Interns and Residents. Promotes lifelong learning as an essential and integral component of professional nursing practice. Facilitates competence in nursing practice. Acts as an consultant and resource for current nursing practice information. Administration: Maintains documentation and record keeping that verifies educational activities according to department guidelines. Maintains correct lines of authority and communication according to the organizational chart. Utilizes material resources and facilities effectively. Maintains confidentially of all records and results. Completes monthly reports as required which document the provision of educational services as required. Education & Research: Demonstrates proficiency in education design including development of needs assessment, description of target audience, educational objectives, content, outline, teaching methods, evaluations strategies and a designation of appropriate physical facilities and resources. Develops educational activities to support critical thinking, professional growth, and competence. Facilitates marketing of educational activities. Participate in teaching and mentoring of Nursing, Medical and Paramedical students, Interns and Residents . Quality: Participates in the evaluation of systems and programmes to maximize productivity, cost effectiveness via continuous improvement quality program. Promotes learner evaluation of the effectiveness of educational activities. Complies with and participates in Quality improvement processes and activities. Complies with hospital infection control and safety protocols. Professionalism: Serves as a professional role model and teacher. Develops and utilizes professional collegial networking. Demonstrates respect, compassion and cultural sensitivity to patients/families other hospital employees, students and faculty. Advocates for excellence in patient care and patient rights. Demonstrates effective communication and collaboration skills when interacting with patients/families, other health care team members. Assumes responsibility for own actions, decisions and behaviors. Demonstrates initiative in the performance of duties requiring a minimum amount of supervision or guidance. Performs any other related duties as assigned. Essential/Preferred Education & Experience Requirements: (P-Preferred, E- Essential, B-Beneficial) Registered Nurse with current Nursing license - E Bachelor's Degree Nursing - E Five (5) years clinical nursing experience with variety of assignments, including two (2) years current clinical teaching experience - E Post graduate certificate in area of speciality - P English Language Skills: Level I - E Arabic Language Skills: B Computer Skills: Intermediate level - E |
