Client hospital in Riyadh is a 900-bed state-of-the-art tertiary care medical center dedicated to delivering health care services of the highest international standard. The facility includes a busy Cardiac Surgery and Liver & Kidney transplant Center, a 21-bed Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Care and Trauma Centers, in addition to advanced Medical, OB/GYN, Pediatric, and Surgery departments performing all major surgeries-including conjoined twin separation (11 conjoined twin separates have been performed successfully to date, which is phenomenal worldwide).

Contracts are minimum for one year. The benefits include:

JOB DESCRIPTION: Nurse Coordinator
Basic Function:
- Within the mission, vision and values of the hospital and the Division of Nursing Services, provides total patient care for assigned patients and acts as the charge nurse for a shift. Ensures optimal nursing care is provided to patients and coordinates staffing and other patient care activities. Rotates day and night shifts to meet patient requirements.


Essential and Preferred Requirements: (P-Preferred, E-Essential, B-Beneficial)

Registered Nurse with a current Nursing License – E
Diploma in Nursing (Western Standard) -E
Bacheolor Degree in Nursing (for PE/ME/SA Candidates)-E
Minimum of three years current clinical experience in specific area with demonstrated leadership abilities – E
Specific certification as required in area of assignment - E
English Language Skills: Level - I - E
Arabic Language Skills: P

NUMBER OF BEDS Adult Care area – 24 beds; 6 chairs; 1 ENT chair; 10 fast track slots
OCCUPANCY RATE 80 – 150 patients per day

PRIMARY PATIENT DIAGNOSES / CONDITIONS Trauma:Multi-system penetrating & blunt trauma; thoracic, abdominal, head, spinal & orthopedic trauma.Burns, maxillofacial, neurological, neurovascular, surgical, plastic, renal genitourinary, gastrointestinal, neonatal and obstetric conditions. Emergency:Shock – respiratory cardiogenic, neurological, neurogenic, spinal, hypovolemic, toxic, endocrine, gastrointestinal, infectious, environmental, hematological, toxic, Ob/Gyn, ENT, ocular, medical, surgical, orthopedic/traumatic.Fractures/dislocations and amputations. Psychiatric, social oncology, cardiothoracic, neurosurgical, burns, falls, MVA, congenital anomalies, scorpion/snake exposure, and near drowning.
PROCEDURES (Examples) Hemodynamic monitoringAdministration of advanced emergency medications.Administration of thrombolytic/Inotropic support. C-spine immobilization, vascular access.Initial assessment of newborn.Transcutaneous pacing, cardioversion, defibrillation, internal defibraillation.Chest tube insertion, pericardiocentesis and thoracentesis.Emergency endoscopy, hemodialysis and lumbar puncture. Administration of advanced cardiac and trauma life support Care of central, arterial and port-a-cath lines. Intraosseous access.Rapid sequence intubation. Advanced airway management.Echocardiogram, EKG.Conscious sedation, decontamination procedure, Emergency delivery, blood administration Disaster response.Ascitic tap, catheter insertion and drainage, nasogastric insertion, and PEG tube insertion.
