Europe's largest unit for the treatment of cystic fibrosis is based at the Hospital: The hospital is the country's largest centre for the treatment of adult congenital heart disease We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Nurse / ODP to strengthen and provide a valuable contribution to the Team in Anesthetics Participation in the on-call Rota is essential. It is essential that you are an RGN / Registered ODP with significant experience within theatre, cardiothoracic experience would be an advantage. It would be desirable that you have ENB 176/182/183. We can offer a departmental orientation program along with support to undertake Theatre Courses and opportunities to participate in monthly Academic program. On-going training and education is encouraged. Job Description The post holder will work closely with the senior staff and multi-disciplinary team members in monitoring and maintaining excellent clinical standards of clinical practice and staff development as part of the theatre team. As a member of the surgical / anaesthetic theatre team perform the tasks of scrub nurse/ anaesthetic assistant following all checks and procedures as laid down in National / Theatre Policy. |
