The Hospital in Al Hasa is a 300-bed capacity and provides primary and secondary patient care. Including: Outpatient Clinics, Pharmacy, four Operating Rooms and Day Surgery Operation Room. It also includes eight beds for Haemodialysis, Physical Therapy Department, Radiology Department, Endoscopy, ER, ICU, Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department with two rooms for caesareans and six L & D rooms. Wards include: Male and Female patient wards, Gynaecology, Obstetrics and female surgery. male surgical ophthalmology, ENT and a VIP ward. Evaluate, plan and treat referred patients in a timely and professional manner, utilizing the most appropriate equipment/modalities/techniques. 2. Ensures compliance in accordance with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards. 3. Ensures compliance with Hospital policies and safety standards and in particular Fire & Disaster Plan and hazardous Materials Manual. 4. Participate in the departmental in services, meetings, quality management and other appropriate activities as requested by the HOD or relevant Clinical team Leader. 5. Regularly review clinical needs in the specialty areas, liaison with hospital staff, and become actively involved in future service planning. 6. Demonstrate leadership and teamwork abilities and follow the hospital policies and procedures. 7. Maintain confidentiality of patient, staff and hospital information. 8. Consistently demonstrate professionalism through work performance, time management, verbal and written communication, appearance, attitude and conduct. 9. Ensures documentation of division quality improvement activities. 10. Ensures proper evaluation of staff within the division. . Performs other job related duties as assigned Essential and Preferred Requirements: (P-Preferred, E-Essential, B-Beneficial) Education: Must be a Bachelor's degree in BS Podiatric Medicine or be a registered Chiropodist Work Experience: At least five years of post licensure experience wi at least two years experience in a major (500 + bed) hospital or laboratory as a senior Podiatrist. Prior management experience, a proven track record and formal management training highly desirable. English Language Skills: Skilled (Level I) Computer Skills: Level: Expert |
