TitleConsultant Neonatologist
DescriptionOur Client Hospital group are State-of-the-Art Joint Commission International Accredited (JCIA) tertiary care, medical research and academic facilities located in Saudi Arabia. Currently the group has three hospitals with a combined total of 1,346 beds (inclusive of day beds) between the Riyadh and Jeddah sites.
Our hospitals are national referral centers for several specialities including Oncology, Organ Transplantation, Cardiovascular Diseases, Neurosciences and Genetic Diseases, with postgraduate education programs that support both Residency and Fellowship training. The Research Centers focus on basic and translational research primarily in cancer, cardiovascular diseases, transplant immunology, genetics, molecular diagnostics and proteomics. All our academic activities are accredited by the American Academy of Medicine.
Significant expansion is planned at both our sites in Jeddah and Riyadh, including the development of a Paediatric Tertiary Care Hospital, a dedicated Oncology and Liver Centre, an expansion of our current inpatient-outpatient and emergency department facilities, as well as the development of a Biotechnology Center.
We are currently seeking Consultants who possess international reputation in clinical excellence and innovation for our site in Riyadh.

JOB TITLE: CONSULTANT, NEONATOLOGY
RESPONSIBLE TO: Head, Section of Neonatology
Chairman, Department of Pediatrics
BASIC FUNCTION: Provides high quality patient care particularly in the subspecialty of Neonatology.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1. Provides high quality medical care and management to patients particularly in the area of Neonatology.
2. Provides consultative service to other service or institutions as required
3. Participates in the Section and Department teaching programs and encourage other Section members to do same.
4. Participates in and promotes research activities.
5. Perfonns administrative duties as assigned.
6. Provides training for colleagues in the Section so that more than one senior member is able to perform and implement ongoing programs.
7. Participates in the department's educational activities and training programs for fellows and residents.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
9. Participates in self and other's education, training, and development as applicable.
10. Follows all Hospital-related policies and procedures.
EDUCATION:
Graduation from an accredited medical school, completion of required period of Postgraduate training in the specialty and subspecialty, with Arab, American or Canadian Board Certification, Membership and/or Fellowship status in the United
Kingdom, and/or North America, or their equivalent.
EXPERIENCE & OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
The years of postgraduate training in specialty or subspecialty plus post training must be equal to or exceed seven years.
