| Description | Our Client Hospital group are State-of-the-Art Joint Commission International Accredited (JCIA) tertiary care, medical research and academic facilities located in Saudi Arabia. Currently the group has three hospitals with a combined total of 1,346 beds (inclusive of day beds) between the Riyadh and Jeddah sites.
Our hospitals are national referral centers for several specialities including Oncology, Organ Transplantation, Cardiovascular Diseases, Neurosciences and Genetic Diseases, with postgraduate education programs that support both Residency and Fellowship training. The Research Centers focus on basic and translational research primarily in cancer, cardiovascular diseases, transplant immunology, genetics, molecular diagnostics and proteomics. All our academic activities are accredited by the American Academy of Medicine. Significant expansion is planned at both our sites in Jeddah and Riyadh, including the development of a Paediatric Tertiary Care Hospital, a dedicated Oncology and Liver Centre, an expansion of our current inpatient-outpatient and emergency department facilities, as well as the development of a Biotechnology Center. We are currently seeking Consultants and Assistant Consultants who possess international reputation in clinical excellence and innovation for our site in Riyadh. PRINCIPAL DUTIES: 1. Ensures optimum clinical management of intensive care unit patients. 2. Coordinates the continuous optimal management of all patients in the NICU and is to be immediately available as requested. 3. Participates in morning ward rounds with the Intensive Care unit Team and in creating daily management plan. 4. Coordinates daily review ofNICU patients with the Consultants. 5. Determines the need for subspecialty consultation as required and help coordinate these consultations. 6. Assists the Section in non-clinical duties including education and research, multidisciplinary meetings, quality assurance activities, and updating of the patient database, and others as necessary. 7. Participates in the department's educational activities and training programs for fellows and residents. 8. Performs other related duties as assigned. 9. Participates in self and other's education, training, and development, as applicable. 10. Follows all Hospital-related policies and procedures. EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited medical school in good standing, completion of Postgraduate training in the specialty and Arab Board Certification or equivalent. EXPERIENCE & OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Six (6) years of experience in specialty and minimum of two (2) years experience in subspecialty. |
